Interconnect offers Hypertac connectors

Interconnect Systems is offering Hypertac's HBB and HBC ranges of high current connectors.

The HBB range of connectors combine high current handling with small size and exceptional environmental performance.

The HBB range is suitable for all types of high-power applications, including electric drives, fighting vehicles, weapon systems, ground-based and airborne avionics systems, rail, automotive and medical sectors.

Designed for easy mating and quick release, the devices use Hypertac’s hyperboloid contact technology to attain standard current ratings of 300A and 500A (750A available on request) with high reliability and excellent integrity.

Hyperboloid contacts produce contact resistance figures as low as 0.05Ω which will help in reducing resistive loses.

Following on from the success of their HBB range, Hypertac have introduced the HBC range of small, lightweight high power connectors, made especially for the industrial sector.

Suitable for all types of industrial applications the HBC range incorporates all the features of the HBB range, also offering 300A, 500A and 750A available on request.
