3M’s Pistonz earplugs offer new shape

3M Occupational Health and Environmental Safety offers a newly expanded passive hearing conservation product line with the introduction of 3M Pistonz earplugs.

3M Pistonz earplugs are a modified version of foam insert earplugs in a radical new shape.

Shaped like an engine piston, Pistonz earplugs are comfortable, easy to use and designed for instant use with a no-roll-down design in addition to an impressive SLC80 of 25dB.

The no-roll-down feature ensures wearers get a correct fit and the right attenuation every time.

3M Pistonz earplugs are available in corded and uncorded models, and are preferred as hearing protection by real gearheads.

According to Peter Knott, senior occupational hygienist at 3M Australia, given that achieving hearing protection compliance, especially in younger workers is difficult, innovative designs, shapes and colours would encourage them to take more interest in their hearing protection.
