Rafael appoints new Executive VP of Marketing

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. has appointed Mr. Oron Oriol as Executive VP of Marketing.

Oriol replaces Mr. Lova Drori, who has served in various positions at Rafael for 42 years, including in his last position as Executive VP of Marketing for the last 6 years.

Rafael under Drori's marketing lead has had many impressive marketing achievements and successes, as well as global marketing breakthroughs.

Oron Oriol (53) joined Rafael in 2001 and started as Head of its Air-to-Air and Air Defense Directorate. Oriol will return to Israel after serving as President and CEO of Rafael U.S.A.

Rafael's CEO, VADM (Ret.) Yedidia Yaari congratulated Oriol on his appointment, stating that he brings with him the right experience and capabilities necessary to meet Rafael's goals and challenges, particularly in the marketing arena.

Yaari thanked Lova Drori for his service with Rafael and for his instrumental role in promoting the company's activities, and in strengthening its financial robustness.
