Frequentis releases the nextgen of fully IP-based 'iSecCOM'

The Frequentis ‘iSecCOM’ is a communications solution that provides the versatility, dependability and interoperability for Joint Civilian and Military (JCMATS) applications.

Frequentis has been investing in IP technology for safety-critical applications for more than 10 years and offers vast experience in deploying IP-based solutions into the Defence market.

Whilst many other companies were in system development phase, Frequentis achieved acceptance for its IP-based communication system in 2005 by the German Airforce for their Deployable Command and Reporting Centre (DCRC) program.

‘iSecCOM COMPACT’ Release 2.0 is also an important progression for future Defence Communication Solutions and is the answer to the rising demand of Military Customers for continued development of their IP based Communication Systems.

‘iSecCOM COMPACT’ is designed to operate in CLASSIFIED and UNCLASSIFIED security domains and is also available as single domain configuration as BLACK ONLY or RED ONLY system. The system provides the capabilities required for stationary, deployable and mobile C2 or MILATC and Civilian harmonised ATC configurations.

iSecCOM Compact - Release 2.0 Features:

• Complies with the recommendations of the EUROCAE ED-137A (ICAO 9896) specification providing the basis for future interoperability with Civilian Air Traffic Control.
• Built on fail-safe, redundant and decentralised architecture using a single coherent IP network infrastructure.
• Scalable, modular, flexible using Commercial/Military-Off-The-Shelf equipment with small footprint.
• Integrates radios in fixed frequency and ECCM mode (e.g. HAVE QUICK  I / II, SATURN, SECOS).
• CC EAL4+ for SECRET level, RED/BLACK Controller Working Positions (CWP) provides simultaneous reception of G/G and G/A voice communication from both domains; radio features including advanced radio remote control functions and comprehensive phone features.
• Integrates Vinson compatible crypto devices including iSecCOM’s narrowband and wideband crypto gateways to support End-to-End Encryption. Crypto Pooling using iSecCOM’s Crypto Pool Manager for dynamic Crypto allocation. Alternatively IPSec Cryptos for Section Encryption.
• Integration of remote Controller Working Position’s; Voice and Data Recorders; VHF/UHF and HF Radios in Fixed Frequency or ECCM mode; Link 16 voice communication; and 3rd party components.
