Boeing has delivered - on schedule - the first of 10 C-17 Globemaster III airlifters for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Rheinmetall wins orders from Asia and the Middle East

For years Kuwait has deployed 35mm Skyguard systems from Rheinmetall Air Defence to protect critical infrastructure from aerial threats.

The Rheinmetall Group has recently booked a number of important air defence contracts. Malaysia, Kuwait and one other Asian country have all ordered air defence hardware and/or services.

The Rheinmetall Group and the Dutch armed forces have agreed to extend an existing agreement for the supply of various ammunition types in close cooperation between Rheinmetall and the Netherlands.

New year deliveries for AWD project

When complete, the AWD will be one of the most capable warships of its size in the world, featuring the Aegis weapons system.

The AWD Alliance has received the first major deliveries for this year of equipment to be installed on the three new destroyers being constructed at Techport Australia for the RAN.
