This is the Institute’s first biennial event that will aim to bring a selection of pre-eminent experts together to address the ANI as part of a continuing program by the ANI to promote contemporary naval issues to the wider community.
The ANI’s theme for 2012 is “Anti-Submarine Warfare”.
The eminent speakers will be: Professor Geoffrey Till, Director, Corbett Centre, King’s College, London; Dr Norman Friedman, Naval Strategist – US Naval Institute Proceedings columnist; Dr Sam Tangredi, Strategic Insight Ltd.
These international speakers will be in Australia to address the RAN Seapower Conference 2012, in Sydney, and are being brought to Canberra by the ANI to ensure that their expertise is more widely available.
