Australian Marine Technologies (AMT) is a specialist Naval Ship Design and Engineering organisation. With a staff of around forty and a total systems engineering approach across the full breadth of Naval design and technical disciplines, AMT provides consolidated design and engineering support to Navies and to the defence industry, applied to any and all activities from requirements and concept design, through detail design to production implementation, trials and customer Acceptance. These services are backed by a long history of naval ship design experience, including the original ANZAC Ship design/development and more recent upgrade and configuration change activity in support of the range of RAN Major Surface Ships, including the design for the conversion of MV DELOS to the role of RAN Auxiliary Oiler (AO). In addition AMT has developed expertise in capability development document (CDD) generation, project definition studies, systems integration and safety engineering applied to a range of defence industry and Navy clients.
